The Chino Hills Open Space Management Plan was a multi‐faceted effort to preserve, enhance and manage the City of Chino Hills’ 3,000 acres of community open space. Funded by a Sustainable Communities Grant from the State of California Strategic Growth Council, the Plan addressed the following topics: habitat enhancement and protection; mitigation banking; alternative energy generation; hillside development policies; and agricultural resources and opportunities. SAGE was the agricultural consultant on the project team.
